Yes it's me back again at last. :-D Sorry it's been so long since I was last here but things have been rather traumatic I'm afraid. My friend Francis died peacefully on Friday 21st July. She spent her last few days in a wonderful hospice on the outskirts of Edinburgh where they made everything pain-free and dignified for her right to the end. Most of the last few weeks have been spent with me either visting Francis, cleaning both houses or helping Tom and the boys out in any way I could. Poor Ian was beginning to wonder if he still had a wife. We still have the funeral to face but we all feel comforted in the knowledge that we had time to spend with Francis and time to say our goodbyes properly to her before she passed away. Now ... my apologies to everyone who's birthday, anniversary, joining GardenStew etc etc that I missed and thanks to Frank for starting the anniversary wishes for Ian and myself. It was very much appreciated - although we didn't actually celebrate it this year for obvious reasons. I have sooooo much to catch up on that I think it's going to take quite a while before I'm up-to-date. I'm happy to see that we've not got too many more posts before the BIG 20,000th one and I'm really looking forward to the celebrations. OK I'm off to see what you lot have been up to since I've been away and to have a look at all your lovely piccies. It's great to be back among you all again - I've missed you all.

Very sorry to hear about Francis Eileen, I know she meant a lot to you and still does. You are the best type of friend a person could possibly have. Just remember the good times with her. I'm so very pleased that you are back with us Eileen, be assured you were missed by all
