Hello all, a newbie here, thought I would say hi and introduce myself!
My name is my old childhood nickname, apparently there used to be a programme with a baby dragon that used to follow everyone around and it's name was Pongo, it stuck with me! (Not anything to do with my bathing habits!)
I love gardening, got an allotment, love cooking, hate housework!!!
Have 2 teenagers, 1 OH and 2 guinea pigs.
    Live in East Sussex.
Look forward to meeting you all.

    Hi Pongo,

A BIG welcome from me Pongo ;) I hope you make GardenStew.com a regular stop for your gardening, cooking/recipe and housework queries :D

Not sure how I would feel if I was named after a baby dragon

    Aww thanks all,
Welcome to you too EJ, I think you look familiar :)

Frank my only housework question is how do you make it go away and NEVER come back??? :D And I don't spit fire.........well not very often and only when teenagers are involved ;)

Bugs, thanks for that link, have seen the site before whilst looking for a suitable avatar, I am the little chap by the Queen :) Have daughter working on drawing an avatar for me, 8) Shame you can't have a lottie, they are huge amounts of fun, was going to get out in my garden today, but the wind here was bitter and we are in the process of selling our house, so it had to be tidied yet again, lucky it is the winter, looking for one of those nice sunny days to turn up so I have no excuse to stay indoors :D

Hi Pongo!!!! Lovely to have you around. I Thought for a minute there you were named after the dalmation in '100 & One Dalmations' - he's called Pongo too!!!!!!!!! :D :D Looking forward to seeing the avatar your daughter is drawing for you. :D

If you get any nice sunny days down your way how about sending a few northwards to Scotland? I can't remember the last time we saw the sun around here.
