    Hi all,

    Just wanted to introduce myself - i'm Annstar, admitedly more of a home interior/DIY-er sort of user but trying to get the hang of gardening! Hope to chat to a few of you one here and get some useful tips :)

    Hi Annstar, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. Glad you joined us.
    Several of us are doing home improvement projects and I think we all love DIY project ideas so you will find lots of interest here in those topics also.

    Any questions you have about your plants or garden just ask away. We have forums for just about any topic for those questions, if you have a problem deciding where to post something, just ask Eileen, Frank or I and we will be glad to help.

    Welcome Annstar! I'm D in Tennessee (zone6/7)You have found a Great group of people here, grab a cup of tea or coffee and read through the forums. If you're like me I had my notebook open and jotted notes here and there (I'm a new gardner as well).

    What plants are you planning to start? What type of DIY stuff do you do? Share please!

    Welcome from another Texas location. I only do outside plants, no room for inside stuff. I kept some herbs over winter and they grew tall and leggy. They are many people here to help with your questions, gardening or DYI stuff. dooley
