Help! I have no idea what this houseplant is

    I've had this plant since April, and I have no idea what it is, I was just randomly given it by my family members, I'd like to have some suggestions on what you guys think it is. If you can't see the picture it's photos. http://www.gardenstew.com/plantstew/gar ... r_id=19769

    Are the leaves soft like skin or firm like a Oak leaf?

    Depending on the species you could have a red, pink or white bloom eventually.
    I have one under the fluorescent kitchen light and it loves it, it's blooming again now.

    Thanks for the info :) I've been wondering now for a while what kind of plant he was, my mother randomly gifted him to me for my birthday since she knows how much I love plants, she neglected to find out what kind of plant it was, so thank you for helping me figure it out
