Help Please with Hydranga

    My Problem is i bought a lovely pink hydranga in a large pot, the frost got it and it died, is it dead for good now or can i now plant it in the garden for next year thank you...poppy

    I would plant it for next year.. Sure is no harm in trying.

    They are hardy ..Mine is .
    Should come back..

    Go ahead and give it a try, you have nothing to lose. Most hydrangea bloom on new wood so they need to die back each year. Having said that and knowing you said pink, the endless summer hydrangea blooms on both old and new wood.

    Mine die back in winter and come right back in spring. Give the poor thing a chance. It may surprise you.

    The 'Endless Summer' Hydrangeas bloom over and over again each year. :stew1:
