We are cleaning out kitchen cabinets today in prep for the kitchen remodel that starts Monday. We came across some bottles of booze that had been my Dad's. And quite frankly, I forgot I had. One is a bottle of Drambuie, unopened, and still in the presentation box. It was given to my father sometime in the early 1950's, maybe 52 or 53 or so. Here are some pics of the bottle and the box. Oh and it may be for sale if anyone is interested!

What a find! I like the box.
I'll bet that would sell on E-bay!

I have emailed Drambuie in Miami about it and will be interested in what they say.

I would take it to auction CK it might make a good price, especially as it is in its very attractive original box. Let us know how you get on with it :-D

Oh, that would be a true tidbit for a collector. My husband's sitting here, drooling all over my keyboard. I sort of regret calling him over now. :D

Please tell us what you find out, Capt., as we are more than slightly interested in following your box's history and the price today.
