Hermit sneaks a berry.

A hermit thrush picks out a berry that I hung up.

I hear Hermit Thrushes more than I see them. The song is said to be the most melodic of all the woodland birds. Thank you for an active picture of a bird I rarely see.

I was thinking Hermit crab I thought, "Where would a crab get a berry?"

There are a few birds that steal these berries. I have a load of them in the freezer, hope I get to use them all.

 

What a nice shot ! I don't think we have those here in Iowa.
