How far are you from the Glasgow airport? That's all that has been on the news over here this afternoon.

Approximately 20 miles CK!! They've also stopped traffic getting into Turnhouse Airport in Edinburgh because of the failed (thankfully) car bombing at Glasgow. Edinburgh is around the same distance from us as Glasgow airport.

Thankfully no-one was hurt, I hate to see this ugly activity rearing its head again.

I thought about you the minute I heard the news Eileen. Geeze, it seems unsafe to even leave the house these days!

I thought about you too Eileen. Do you go to Glasgow often? I avoid big cities whenever possible. Hope you stay safe. Dooley

Dooley I hardly ever go to Glasgow as I find it too noisy and crowded for my liking. I still go into Edinburgh to visit my MIL and children but Laura and MIL are nowhere near the airport or the city centre thankfully. I do worry about my youngest son though as he has a flat in the very heart of Edinburgh and not far from a main railway station. Just let's hope no-one decides to start targeting trains next!!! :(
