Hello from Beautiful Port Maitland Nova Scotia. We live in a small fishing community. Just my husband and myself. Along with a Greyhound, Chesapeake Bay Retriever and a Nova Scotia Ringed Tailed Cattywaller. Primary fishing is lobster. My husband is a fishing Captain. He's been fishing for 26 years and still loves it. He fishes for 6 months from Nov. to May so he has the summer off to help me around the garden. He's the best soil mover I know. We love gardening, hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping. We've been devoted to each other for 21 years. And still hold hands. Well, I guess I've bored you enough. Looking forward to surfing around the site and checking everyone out. Cheers, Fastgrey
Hi fastgrey, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. Glad you found us. Lots of fun and informative things to read here. Hope you enjoy yourself.
Hello there, fastgrey, very happy you've joined the group. Sounds like you and your hubby have settled into a great place to live and garden. Isn't it the greatest to be able to enjoy getting out there and digging around together? My hubby (of almost 30 years ) is a great gardening buddy, too. My back would have given out years ago, were it not for him!

Welcome Fastgrey from the state of Michigan. I envy you that your husband enjoys gardening - mine will help only when I ask, beg, plead, etc. But he is a great wooodworker so builds things for me. I am sure you will enjoy it here. Would love to see some pictures of your area.
I thank you all for your welcome. I am waiting patiently for spring here in zone 6b. But from the looks of the snow thats falling, it'll be a bit longer yet.
