Hi all! I am a sort of newbie at gardening and to top it off I do it with planters instead of in the ground! I am a charter bus driver so I have to sometimes leave my little garden for a few days. My wife is willing to water but that is about it! So I found some self-watering planters that seem to do a pretty good job! Most plants can go a few days without water (Except cucumber!! Darn things will suck the planter dry in a day! And it holds about 4 gallons of water!!) I am probably more of a reader then a commenter so forgive me if I don't write a lot! I am including a picture of one of my planters... Thanks for letting me join! Dave Tomatoes and tomatillo ( photo / image / picture from topekachef's Garden )
