I have had this trailing rose in my yard for about 5 years! I got a tiny start of it from my Dad's. My Dad's cousin planted this rose over 50 years old when she was a small child. Where my Dad's house is now his grandparents had a log cabin. In 1979 the old logs that were left were cleared away for my Mama and Daddy to build their house. Well these little roses survived through all the neglect and the building of my parent's home and are still there today. Just one rose remains, so I was very lucky to have gotten this one when I did. I know I am rambling *sorry* ! Anyways for the past 5 years I have babied this particular rose and many other roses have meet their demise through my care! :-? I moved the rose to many different locations around my gardens and well last year it finally seemed to start growing! Well this year it is out of control!!YAY!! :p It finally likes me!! I feel even luckier that it is an heirloom rose!!
    Here it is!

You can't really tell in the photo but the bug in the middle of the blossom is metallic looking!

You finally found the place the rose wanted to be and it looks like it is going to really enjoy itself there.
The color is very pretty, does it have a fragrance?

The bug looks like a Japanese Bettle and they chew up flowers...
