Hey MG ! How did those Kennebecs do for you?

    I started digging mine and have not been too pleased. Not nearly as good as the LaSodas. Although I can say that what they are making are pretty egg shaped potatoes. Just seems they haven`t matured at the same rate as the reds.

    Mart, the Kinnebecs did well--as you noted, not as big as the LaSodas but a nice crop of potatoes. I like the taste, also. They are "creamier" than the LaSodas, at least in my opinion. I'll be putting them in again next year.

    Texas seems to harvest sooner than Michigan, for sure.
    My potatoes are just beginning to blossom.

    We plant around Valentine's Day, and harvest in June. This year's weather was a bit "funny" so I harvested some in late May, and the rest about 10 days later. This was definitely NOT the year to try experiments, with so many unreliable factors!
