Hello everyone, haven't been here for a while, you know how it is busy, busy, busy :D Back now though & looking forward to catching up on all your news.
Glad to say weather is getting a bit warmer here although still a chilly wind blowing today. Managing to get out into the garden to prepare for summer, if it ever arrives. My raised bed patch is coming along nicely again this year so hope to post some photos of that soon. Could do with some rain though as it is like a desert out there at the moment, so dry.

How good to see you again, GG!! The ole GS isn't the same without a posting from you now and then. Welcome back.

You were gone so long that I thought that you had taken a tent and camped-out at Chelsea to visit the Flower Show every day. :D
Tomorrow is the last day and I wonder if anyone there will be attending the last day to get some "special" plants to take home.
I enjoyed EJ's pictorial account of her visit last year.

That raised bed of yours sounds in serious need of water. That's the only disadvantage of raised beds--they nee more water.
It is quite dry over here as well. I have had to give supplimental water to my beans, peas and strawberries because of the dryness. The blueberries are suffering a bit as well.
They say that it will rain on sunday, I hope thay have gotten it right this time.

Anyway...I shall be looking forward to your pics of the reaised bed and the plants growing in it.

Morning Pat. We had a small shower yesterday morning, but that is it. It did make everything perky, but that won't last long.

No chelsea for me this year...maybe next year. I have enjoyed watching it on the box though. I don't know about you Pat, but it makes me want to buy lots of new plants for my garden. :)

Gardengirl, Hi! Glad to see you back again. I was thinking about you a couple of weeks back -- remembering how much good stuff you packed into your raised bed. It inspired me as I planted my small veggie square. Can't wait to see how you've got yours laid out. Hope you get some rain soon!

Thanks for the welcome back everyone.

Sjoerd, don't worry, I have been making sure that my raised beds do not dry out. Chelsea is the one show that I haven't visited, the tickets are like gold dust you have to get in very quickly.

Emma, you are so right, I have been watching Chelsea on the box and as you say have been inspired and wish I had a bottomless purse in order to purchase the lovely plants that took my eye.

Daisybeans, so nice of you to remember my raised beds. I have made one or two changes to them this year and will explain all when I take some photos and put them in the appropriate thread.

The sun has finally come out today but unfortunately the weekly shop has to be done this afternoon so maybe I will be able to get out into the garden tomorrow or Sunday. Rain forecast for tomorrow which will be very welcome!
