    I am John living in Athens-Greece.
    I am amateur plant grower for more than 30 years, I grow Plumerias-Olive/Pistachio/Lemon trees-Cycads etc all in pots, after many years effort, I can say that all thrives well.

    welcome john! i'm having trouble getting your pictures to come up...but i always am having a struggle with photos! :D

    Greece always seemed like a magical place to me. i've never visited there, but my folks visited the Island of Crete many years ago. the photos of the ocean and all were so beautiful. we even got T-shirts with Greek print on them!

    how wonderful growing in pots! we have two Olive Trees we've been growing in large pots for 2 plus years. they get very unhappy with us when we bring them inside the cabin for winter. i'll enjoy hearing what you have to say about growing plants in pots. :stew2:

    It's so good to have you here with us John. WELCOME to GardenStew from West Lothian in Scotland. I have a friend who lives Nr. Kalidonia in Crete and I envy her the lemon trees, olives and pomegranates that she can grow in her garden. Thanks for sharing your lovely plants with us all. :-D

    Hi John and welcome from coastal North Carolina. I've recieved many photos of Greece from cousins in Europe who holiday there. It's lovely.
    You have many beautiful flowering plants. I'm interested in orchid culture too.
    Hope we'll be hearing more from you.

    I am very happy because I found your community.
    I apologize because my English is n't in high level, so I need your understanding.
    Maybe I have some years experience in gardening, but I am still learning and of course I need also your experience.

    I am glad to contact with people from:
