Since I have not introduced myself yet, I will do exactly what was prompted of me when I joined this forum. I joined this forum since it is going to be the start to the growing season soon, if this snow in NH stops sometime soon. I am looking to grow some basic vegetables this year as a hobby to learn something new that I have not start. I should be getting my plot in our community garden soon. Thank you.
Thank you for the greetings. I have already been surfing around the many conversations in the forum and have found some useful tips. Is there a good way to see who may be from what geographic areas? As I am reading the conversations I am trying to figure out where the people are from to figure out why it would be time for them to plant seeds now.
Hi there Riccur this time from Scotland. If you look under each persons avatar you will see their location. We have members from all over the world so we can compare what we can grow and when. I hope you'll share your growing experiences with us and maybe post photographs too.
Nice thanks for letting me know that. That helps to relate to everyone's post. Just in case anyone is from the Southern Hemisphere.
Welcome to GardenStew from Chelmsford MA. Probably not that far away from you. I still have 2 feet of snow to disappear before I see terra firma. Jerry
Yeah only about 30 minutes away from me. great to see someone from the area on here as well. Nice to meet you!
Hi Riccur and a hearty welcome to GardenStew You are here just in time for the growing season alright, great to have you here.
Thanks for all the greeting again. Sounds like nice weather coming around in Texas. Make sure you send it my way soon. Thanks!
Hi and welcome from SE Texas. Can't wait to see all your veggies. Also, there's a "Member Map" here where you can put a "pin" in your location. Click on the bar above on "Extras" and then look right under it for sub-sections, and you'll find tab for the map.
Thanks for the members map. I just sent in my coordinates to get added. There is a good amount of people in my region, which is nice!
