I experienced growing up in a gardening family. Each and every year a large garden was planted and all extra food was sold, frozen, canned or dehydrated so the extra foods lasted all thru the year. Creating food dehydrator recipes was especially fun for our family to do. I have boocoodles (that means a bunch) of recipes so am sharing some of my favorites on my website. Since I'm new, you will have to excuse if I am not getting some of the working parts of your forum right. Lee
Hi Everyone Welcome Lee, So good to see you here. Do you have any flower gardens? What I love about this place is that we still can enjoy seeing everyones flowers and veggies they are growing while we are in the deep freeze. Barb in Pa.

Hi Lee, Welcome to GardenStew from the Midlands Ireland,..i notice you didn't mention that you yourself do any gardening,..do i take it that you are promoting the sales of Nesco Food Hydrators,..and the recipes for same.
I have had to put my gardening flowers as well as vegetables and fruit on hold while I am recovering from a shoulder break and knee replacement surgery. I am enjoying the things that I froze, canned and dehydrated that I did before the accident though. I'm not selling Nesco it is just one of the dehydrators that is easy to use for beginners. I'm trying to be more informative about the possibilities and encourage people to try dehydrating if they haven't done it yet. You can do a lot of things in the oven too so a machine is not a must but really nice.
Lee sending a big welcome from Wis. My Mom us to dehydrate fruit. I love banana chips. Will be checking out your web page for recipes. Glad you found this great group. Praying that you heal quickly.
