I experienced growing up in a gardening family. Each and every year a large garden was planted and all extra food was sold, frozen, canned or dehydrated so the extra foods lasted all thru the year. Creating food dehydrator recipes was especially fun for our family to do. I have boocoodles (that means a bunch) of recipes so am sharing some of my favorites on my website.

Since I'm new, you will have to excuse if I am not getting some of the working parts of your forum right.

I have had to put my gardening flowers as well as vegetables and fruit on hold while I am recovering from a shoulder break and knee replacement surgery. I am enjoying the things that I froze, canned and dehydrated that I did before the accident though. I'm not selling Nesco it is just one of the dehydrators that is easy to use for beginners. I'm trying to be more informative about the possibilities and encourage people to try dehydrating if they haven't done it yet. You can do a lot of things in the oven too so a machine is not a must but really nice.
