well as you might have realized I have just joined,I have had a good look round before registering and what a great site so much to look at.
we moved to west Wales about 4 years ago so we could have a large garden (we lived in Brighton before with a garden like a postage stamp)the one we have now is huge to what we are used to and its taken all this time to get it reasonable,we now enjoy our garden with our six cats  yes,yes I know that gardens and cats do not mix to well but they don't cause to much damage.
living in rural Wales we see a great amount of wildlife in the garden and in the pond.
we are both retired and all of our time is taken up with the garden and the cats(I am also an administrator on a cat welfare forum).
I also run a lost and found for cats in the area as well as my own website for advice on missing cats.
well thats it look forward to talking to you all :-D

Glasfryn it's lovely to have you here at GardenStew and I know that you'll enjoy our forums as much as we do. :-D
You must tell us all about your garden and your cats as we enjoy knowing what others grow and what antics their pets get up to.
I hope your Welsh weather is a bit better than mine here in Scotland. We've got gale force winds and rain which means I can't get in the garden much at the moment. :(
Looking forward to getting to know you. :D

Welcome to our place. Julie, not everyone has cats, we have Chance. But, we still have a garden as long as we remember to shut the gate. Hope you will stay awhile with us, Glasfryn. We don't bite at all. Not very hard anyway. Dooley

Welcome glasfryn. I would love to see pics of your garden and cats. Ours do a little damage also, but the armadillos do more.

ARMADILLO'S?? now that must be interesting most we get here is the odd badger and fox and our resident hedgehog henrietta who might flatten down the earth but snuffles up the slugs and snail and leaves the shells for me to pick up ....lol.
thank you all for your welcome and I am sure next summer I will be pestering you all with photo's of a few plants I have and have not got a clue what they are.
