Hi everyone! This looks like a fun place to hang out and I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you more experienced gardeners. I'm retired and loving it! The thing I love most is my flower garden. The garden is not real large but I try to grow everything from seed, so it's still a pretty good challenge. I know I'll have some questions and I'll also try to help anytime I can. Art

Welcome to our forums Art this time from Scotland in the UK. Glad to have you 'on board' and I look forward to getting to know you. :-D
Welcome from Texas. I have a brother in Missouri and a sister in Illinois so I know some about your state. Retirement is okay but you sure keep busy. I guess it's because you have time to do things you want to do now. Growing flowers from seed is what I do for the most part. Jump in and ask and we'll ask, too. dooley
Art, a hearty welcome from Central Texas! Growing from seed is a great way to get wonderful flowers (and vegetables). You'll enjoy talking gardening here--lots of friendly and knowledgeable gardeners on the Stew.
