I'm very new to this forum and gardening. I've never had my own home before. For the past 7 years I have lived in apartments or military housing. Now that my husband is back from Iraq and newly a civilian we decided to buy our first home. I live in a brand new house, unfortunately the contractor put down some really crappy grass seed!!!! More like weed seed! But the little garden in front of the house has promise :-D I plan on visiting this site very much for tips and ideas for my garden... My husband is a tattoo artist now so when he brings home tips I swipe them nd put them in my Gardening fund (or knitting fund) I'm really happy to have found this, everyone here seems so nice and willing to chat.
and let me be the first to give you a big hug to GardenStew. Really great to have you here with us and I just know you're going to enjoy being here. Don't be afraid to ask questions as there are plenty of folks here to help you out. Nice move by the way keeping your hubby's tips for a gardening or knitting fund Gina.
