We still have lots of snow here, but I can hardly wait to get out and plant flowers and tend my yard. I do not have a green thumb so look forward to any tips and ideas I can get. Also, I look forward to hearing about other places and people.

Thank you all for your warm welcome! I am in growing zone 3, and would like to find perennials that do well in full sunlight. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Vang Gal, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.
Check out our plant pages for lots of ideas about what to plant. You can do an Advanced Search to find plants for your zone too.

Looking forward to seeing photos of your garden when the snow melts. Personally I would love to see photos of it covered in snow, but then that's just me. ;)
