Hi, my name is Martha. I live in Northwest Louisiana. I am a teacher's aide and work with grades K - 5. The favorite part of my job is Summer Vacation! Just kidding - I love the children I work with! My favorite hobby is birdwatching. I have many different species visit my yard on a regular basis. My favorite bird is the bluebird (hence the username Bluebirdie). I love to take pictures of birds. Unfortunately I had to send my camera in for repair recently so haven't been able to take many pics lately. I also enjoy flower gardening and a lot of different crafts. I look forward to learning about what interests you all have. If you would like to see my bird albums at Photobucket follow these links. Welcome to GardenStew Martha and what a great way to introduce yourself. Your slideshows are wonderful. It's lovely to see what wildlife other people have in their parts of the world so keep them coming!!
A warm welcome to you from mid-Norway with the very early summer temps this year! Looking forward to stewing with you, and to see more of your wonderful photos.
Hi Martha, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. Glad to have you join us. My oldest daughter teaches 6th and 7th grade science, she loves her kids too but she is sure ready for summer break.
Hi Martha and welcome to the Stew. Loved watching your bird slideshows. Glad you joined us. I live in East Texas and dabble in crafts, so I will be anxious to see what type you prefer. Lots of friendly folks here.
Welcome Martha to the stew. I'm in So. ME and really enjoyed your slide show. I have many of the birds in your 'other birds' show, but have only seen the indigo bunting here once. They are stunning though and I'm hopeful every spring to see another one someday. Thanks so much for joining and I can't wait to see more pics. I hope you get your camera back soon. Looks like you really know how to use it. Enjoy!
Hello Bluebirdie...I see Ron from B&B is here too. I am really getting into this birdwatching more all the time... I am from Wisconsin and hope you enjoy it here. I love posting pictures here...Sherry8
