Thanks for approving my membership I actually joined a few days ago and have been digesting all the great info here....some of you people really know your stuff!! We moved to a larger home with property over the winter and although I have had small flower beds and garden plots before this year is going to be a lot different considering that a few months ago I didn't even know what a cold frame was! Looking forward to learning more about gardening and managing the probably too large area hubby had plowed for my garden
Hi Lilyjunkie, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. Ohhhhh, a large clean slate in which to create gardens and gardens and gardens. Starting can be intimidating but the rewards at the end of the growing season are a real morale booster. We do love pictures of gardens and garden areas in progress so bring them on.

He had me mark out the area I wanted and the next morning a farmer with a tractor was in the driveway. I was like maybe I have just bitten off a bit too much but will have fun!! Great idea!
