Happy New Year to all from NE Wisconsin. I'm an avid gardener and dreaming of being out in the garden at this time of year...it will be a few more months, though! I'm lucky to have a heated potting shed where I overwinter some annuals, and where I can "putz" in the dirt on snowy winter days.
Hello kaseylib Welcome to the stew from southern Ontario! I have a few months to wait too. Spring can't get here soon enough!
Hi there Kaseylib from West Lothian in Scotland. I have spring bulbs already poking their heads out of the soil despite our dreadful weather. I can hardly wait to get broken fingernails, cuts and bruises in the garden again!!
Welcome Kaseylib from Norway. I've got a flowering Helleborus and lots of hope for the spring, which is three months away.
Hello Kaseylib, welcome from the Norwegian Artic. I to can't wait until spring but i have to wait until middle of May before i can get my hands dirty.
Hello...I am from Wisconsin too. I live near Appleton and I like to watch the Green Bay Packers with my husband. I would love to have a place to overwinter flowers...can you post a picture of it sometime? I am dreaming of playing in the dirt too...it just seems so long to stay inside but I am not a cold weather lover. I have lived here all my life.
Hi kaseylib, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. You have found a great place for finding new ideas for next years gardens. Glad you joined us.
shall we call today a winter wonderland here in WI? More snow. Are you going out to shovel the stadium for the Pack today? I've never done it but people that have said it was a blast.
Welcome fellow Wisconsinite, Packer fan and Lab fan from Land O' Lakes Wisconsin. It's nice to hear another voice from this area. You will find that this is a good place to talk gardening, get good information and meet some really neat people from all over the world. Tom
Hello from Arizona! We have a son in Oshkosh who is a Packer fan. The whole family are Packer fans. They go to as many home games as possible. But, he's not a gardener. dooley
