I appreciate the warm welcome! I'm actually from West Virginia, but I've lived in SoCal for most of my adult life. *Way* different gardening, let me tell you. For one thing, I live on a postage stamp, in comparison. I do have a lot of herbs, plus several trees that I've planted. Avocado, lime, and apricot in the fruiting trees, as well as a tree mallow. There's a hefty concord grape vine (and its babies), plus a lot of herbs.

 

Welcome, Mary, from the coast of mid-Norway. I'm looking forward to reading about gardening in Southern California, since I'm certain it's very different from here.
