Hi I have mentioned my location in Ontario as southern because any Ontarian knows it makes a huge difference in what I can grow in my garden. I moved here from the Canadian prairies a few years ago and was astounded at the wonderful things that will grow here in this part of the country. In the prairies, where I grew up, I remember learning in school that the climate of the city I lived in had a winter climate identical to that of Siberia! Not exactly tropical. Even as a kid I was horrified. Living here makes me think I have discovered a bit of gardening paradise.
