Hello everybody, I am new to the Garden Stew, and my mother made me join. She showed you my baby pictures and now that I am all grown up, she says I have to write my own Thank You note to all the Garden Stew people who helped in educating my mother. So here is my Thank You, you did very well in guiding my mom, because here i am all grown up.

Remember me in this baby picture

Here I am after one week of teaching my mom how to care for me.

And here I am all grown up in full bloom, this is my profile

And here is my full face. My mom says I am the most handsome plant she has ever raised.

So, okay now that I have introduced myself, do I get to make new threads too, an can I have a blog too.

(Thank you all for helping me learn about the amerylis.) My mom just couldn't let me have my own thread.

Hello Stewie...it's me again. I wanted to ask you a couple of questions about your surroundings:
Is that great piece of dark furniture behind you an organ? and are those Keulse potten behind you on the floor?
We used to have those pots here and they were used for pickling. They have such a characteristic look and are very popular, if they are the old ones. My grandma used to have a couple as well, She used it as a doorstop in later years. My wife pipes-up to say that her mom had one as well.
Tell us more about these antique-looking things...perhaps on another thread, so as to heep on the straight and narrow here.
Very interesting and nostalgic-looking stuff you have there, Stewie. Your mum is lucky to have these things.

Oh Stewie . . . you are absolutely gorgeous. I know your mom is very proud of you. You brighten up our site so well.

Biita . . . you have a beautiful home. Do you play the organ? Stewie is very fortunate to have grown up in such a lovely environment. What kind of horn is that laying at Stewie's feet?
