I live inHouston Texas and am having a problem with my Hibiscus. Almost all the leaves have turned yellow and have fallen off. I have looked for bug infestation and am unable to see any little pests. No ants are in the flower bed and the other 3 Hibiscus in same bed are doing great. Too much water? Not enough? I don't want to lose it but it is looking pretty bad. I need some input on what I can do to bring it back to life. Thanks!

Hi there Blaze and welcome into our community!

Hibiscus can go through a dormancy period for about 6 - 8 weeks where they lose their leaves. This is normal. If you do not see and signs of bug infestation then I suspect this is what happening. Reduce the watering to allow the plant to lose its leaves and move it to a cool place. Water only enough to stop the soil from drying out. Then after 6 - 8 weeks cut it back, place it back in a sunny spot and continue to water as normal. Fertilize once a month with a houseplant fertilizer when new growth appears.
