The Ice on the lake is starting to get a foot hold, each morning there is more water covered. I thought the patterns were interesting this morning.

Very nice shots Tom. Is this early for the ice to be forming on your lake? Our Lake (Simcoe) doesn't usually freeze over until mid January.

Lovely shots. I am partial to squirrels myself, but also love your lake ice pattern. :D

The ice pattern is fascinating and very unusual.
