We are keeping the grand-dog this week and when I took him out for his morning walk I could smell Turkeys cooking along the way. Which is a surprise since I didn't think most of our neighbors celebrated Thanksgiving.

No wood fires this morning too warm. But depending on how many idiots decide to deep fry the turkey today without having a clue as to the proper way to do that, there might be a few wood fires later closer to dinner time.

We are perfuming the neighborhood with smells of roasting turkey, sage and sausage stuffing, pumpkin pie, and yeast rolls. The temperature is in the high 60's and it was getting pretty warm in the kitchen, so we opened the house windows and are sharing the scents with all!

It is bright and sunny here and almost 65! Very unusual for Ohio.

The day was filled with relatives, food and good cheer. The kitchen was the place to be as long as you did not mind a chore or two but that's the fun part. :)

Happy thanksgiving everyone, and may everyone have a safe holiday.
