Anyone else noticed this? I spent the week before ours getting all sorts of things sorted out both indoors and out in the garden. Our week in Wales was wonderful (pictures to follow ) and 2 days after we arrived back I'm shattered again. Washing done, cases put away and OMG how much has grown in a week French beans which were no longer than my little finger before are now all filled out,sugar snap peas on the verge of becoming obese,courgettes which were table tennis ball sized now resemble large tennis balls,not one but 2 butternut squashes have appeared as if from nowhere-thankfully they'll take a while to grow and ripen. So by the end of this week I'll be ready for another holiday I also couldn't believe the number of posts to catch up on-what a chatty lot we are. Anyway its nice to be back.
It's great to see you back. I know what you mean about the wild behaviour of the garden whilst one is away on hols. Same thing happened to me last month. I'm STILL catching-up. At any rate, you have some good things to harvest. BTW--Have you selected a new place to go for your next vacation in a week? heh heh heh. p.s. Why not include some of your garden piccies along with your Walses' ones?
WELCOME HOME!! I agree with you holidays can be exhausting. I'd love to just get up and go without all the preparation beforehand. As for coming back it's lovely to sleep in my own bed but, oh, the amount of washing that has to be done is unbelievable!! I'm sure it breeds in the suitcases. I'll look forward to your photographs once you get back to the post holiday routine again. :-D
Welcome home Kiasmum!!! Before we left for our holidays in New Zealand and Australia, there were lots of sorting out both indoors and outdoors. Once on our way all the excitement and fun sets in. It was fun, fun and more fun!!! When its time to come home, anxiety, anxiety and more anxiety but it was a good kind of anxiety. Once arrived it was a relief that everything was in order and BROOMPP!!! Things need to be sorted out and once the immediate things that need to sorted is sorted, it's HOME SWEET HOME!!! Oops!!! Now I remembered that I have not posted the Australia part of our holiday, sorry will try to get something done!!! :-D
