Hollyhocks

    My husband likes hollyhocks so we grow them behind the garage so he can see them out the window of his workshop.

    Lovely. I can't get them to establish in my garden which is a shame as I do so love them. I might have a go and get some sown for planting out in the autumn.

    Hi Calvinjane,
    i like those two you have,..how tall do yours grow?,..i have two coming along,..only six inches high,..but i expect real height from them by next spring.

    They are over 6 feet tall. They seem to like the back of the garage that faces west.

    That's a great height!,..just what i want,..mine will face North West,..so i am in the general direction of West,..mine have a long way to grow.
