Got home late last night from our trip to West Milton, Ohio with the Bible quizzers. Thanks for all of your encouragement and prayers. It was a good trip - the Pastor was able to borrow a van so everyone went in one vehicle. We took two teams - 3 girls and 3 boys. There were 7 teams at the meet - our girls took 6th and our boys surprised us by taking 2nd place. Two of our quizzers were in the top 5 quizzers. Next month is Nappannee, Indiana.
Great outcome Polly. I'll cheer just a little louder when the trip to Nappannee comes up and maybe the boys will achieve first place. :-D
Thanks Eileen. The funny thing is that our girls beat our boys in the two matches they had at the meet but were eliminated early in the end.
The girls are just giving the boys a sense of false security so that they can beat 'em next time around. We women can be pretty sneaky sometimes.
