Wow is it hot. And it was wonderful on the meat loaf. Had to move the whole operation outdoors ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden ) Cleared up my sinuses for good I think. ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden )
very nice.... forgot all about mine. I will go out and look at it tomorrow morning. I guess the longer you leave it into the winter the hotter it is.... I am told.
Barb, You dig after first hard frost. After you grind it you have to let it sit for 5-6 minutes before adding 50/50 vinegar & water. Thats when it heats up. I freeze mine and it keeps the heat.
I have made it other years. I didn't know you could freeze it. That is wonderful except my freezer is is a little full. Now let's see I could can some boneless skinless chicken breast to make room. The other one looks the same way I will find a few little holes.
Very nice, Miss D. You have enough to do you for awhile looks like. You used nice jars. Say, how come your and Waretrop's freezers look like twins. How is that possible.
Oh that is sooo funny. So do you have a pantry right next to that one freezer? I have one in the pantry too and one in the apartment in the basement and one in the up building. I only try to use the 2 in my house though.
Barb, I have a side by side refrigerator freezer next to it and yes it's full. I also have a pantry but it does not look anything like yours.
LOL! great thread donna! nice looking horseradish! i usually shred/slice my horseradish and dehydrate it, then, add the vinegar and water to it as i use it. i think it makes it even hotter!
