Today was in the 90's, very dry and very windy. The dust was blowing around in circles. Our lawn chairs ended upside down. Luckily we were not sitting in them. Every day I water our garden and our trees. I know why no one is sending us rain. We are supposed to send buckets to them to catch the rain. I didn't think of it earlier. I don't have a bucket with a lid so next time I go to Home Depot I'll have to buy one.

Dooley, same here. I've been hand-watering the vegetable garden and some new perennials, and hoping for rain.
With all your new trees, you must be hauling water like crazy!

We have one hose for the backyard and garden and another for the front yard. I was doing the front one day and the back the next day but with the new trees and the garden growing I'm watering each every day. I think I do water less each day though. I sure wish I had a bucket to send someone. wannabe says they have rain in their forecast every day for the next week. I'm sure she would send me some rain if I had a bucket.
