I know that it smells awful if you rub the leaves. I remember getting them in the flowershop, but never saw a name on them, I don't think. edited later. I remember now.... It's called a CHINA DOLL plant. Radermachera sinica is the scientific name. Sorry it took me so long to think of it. Obviously I knew it from long, long ago. it just popped into my head as I was trying to google the leaf characteristics.
