I think I finally found how to keep the raccoons from the tomatos. I have to plants in planters that are on wheels. Every night I wheel them into the garage and pull them back out the next morning. One is a Bush Early girl, I have 14 tomatos on it and one is bigger than a tennis ball. I will be eating fresh ones by the July 4th Holiday! The other one is a Bush Goliath and I have 2 on it. I also have a Standard in the ground and It has 2 on it!

I let the maters set out all night last night as we had showers. The coons were too busy with ripe mulberries to bother them. They did take time out to swing in the yard swing as it sets near a mulberry tree. There was muddy footprints all over the swing this morning!

Way to go Capt! There's more than one way to skin a 'racoon'. Bet they were surprised when their maters were gone. Good eating to you! ;)
