'Tis that time of year again, seeds, pots of assorted types and starter mix at the ready.

Ever have seeds without a plant name or photo of the plant they came from? If you are like me at some time in the past when you harvested them you thought "not a problem, I will remember what it is" Yeah, right.

While you all are planting your seeds this year and harvesting them next fall, would you kindly take photos of them and upload them to their plant page on GardenStew Plants? I think it would be a very helpful addition and besides I have a couple of small baggies with seeds I forgot to name

Insert a picture of seeds next to a picture of the plant in the database? Yes?

How about a seed "Who am I" for all those seeds we, with good intensions, collected and forgot to label the packet?

Cheryl, the seedling photos you posted the other day is what got me thinking about needing photos of seeds too.

thepondlady, I will check out that site. Thanks for the link.

Jerry, yep, just upload a seed photo to the plant page the same as you would upload a photo of the plant. I like the idea of a seed identification topic, I'll find out if it should be in the Plant ID or Seed Starting/Propagation Forum.

Great idea Toni! I wish I would have thought of that before I got rid of all my old seeds!

I'm hoping to add some photos of seeds and seedlings over the weekend... or the next time I'm stuck in the house :stew2:

I will take a photo of every type of seed I plant. I have extension tubes for my camera so I can get in nice and close to really show the seeds off, even the tiny ones. Gotta love macro photography.

Anything you all can add anytime will be great. I thought it might be really easy this time of the year with everyone getting their seeds sorted out and ready to plant.

purpleinopp I just activated your seed photos, thanks bunches.
