How come my scans look like this-help

    It appears that you are scanning the entire surface area of your scanner. You should have a "preview" selection where you can crop/select the area you want to scan.

    It would appear that your scanner has reverted back to a default scan like 4x6

    What kind of scanner do you have?

    I the I did that but when I put it in Photobucket was small. Lady wanted some peach Iris. Not best picture was working on house when they was blooming.Thanks for help.

    The picture size is part of the scanner program. Some of them scan the entire picture and allow you to crop the image before you save it. Some scan the entire image and you have to edit it to get the right size. Let me know what scanner software you're using and I'll see if I can find information on how it works. If you need a program to manipulate (crop, edit, resize, etc.) images, I recommend GIMP. That stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It's free and does almost everything that Photoshop does. Go to http://www.gimp.org and hit Download. Then follow the instructions to install it.

    Thanks for help. It is Photosmart 6510-e-all in one. I'm not Cp savy a bit -but I don't give up.
