At first thought it was one of those porta potties
First, you figure out what a "cubit" is . . . . (Sorry, couldn't resist, but I'm not making fun of your plight.)

This is first time Farmer next to us did No till. Corn crop last year. Stocks plugged water way.Lot of trees in our yard. Not ours. Flew 2 acres away.

When the UK flooded in the South at the finish we (not my area) had to send for the Dutch. They went to the area with a lorry load of huge pipes, the pipes were set up to withdraw sea water from the houses and some pipes emptied the water back into the sea. The Image is of the pipes on their way. The sea was actually in houses for weeks till the Dutch rescued them. ( photo / image / picture from kate's Garden ) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ger-lives-Armed-Forces-battle-save-homes.html On TV an MP went out to see the area, he said 'what help do you need', what a plonker. The residents were knee deep in water, what the heck did he think they needed help with? Dutch Pumps to the rescue. ( photo / image / picture from kate's Garden )
Wow Kate, thanks for the photos & explanation. I guess the Dutch know how to deal with water by now. Those are both very interesting photos. BTW welcome to the Stew!
