Now Sunday it was 98* And (Very) windy. Did get much needed rain late SAt.But soaked up fast. Today ran around and closed windows.Thursday said high will be in mid 50's Have to unpack long sleeve tops.
This weekend was very hot for us, up in the 90's. Last night we got some beautiful rain! I think it helped that I watered my plants yesterday Supposed to drop to 60's Fri and Sat (chilly!), but then rise to 80's again...
HOT HOT HOT until about an hour ago. A storm front came through and cooled it off, but I was sweating something fierce as I was weeding the onions and strawberries and then I got rained on a little bit while picking a patch with my FIL. I needed a shower when I was finished...PEEEEE WEW GRUBBY!
woke up at 6:30 a.m. already 79 degrees!..too hot to do much outside....everyone else but here in the city is going to get rain....supposed to cool down tomorrow.....had to turn the sprinklers on yesterday as well.
I am hot hot hot. Oh! No! The weather. It's hot too. The mulch pile is almost gone. We moved 20 yards already and have about 2 to go. Hot hot hot..... The mulching will be done this evening and we will take a few days rest before we get the next 22 yards. Barb in Pa.
I'm cold! We had +4°C this morning, and now it's all of +10°C. Brrr! At least it's dry, well... until Thursday afternoon that is.
Last year Iowa farmers shared hay with Texan who had done. We're not as dry as they was but wouldn't take much. And being on gravel road. Glad last house on dead-end.
its been in the 80/90s and very humid. The afternoons have been very stormy with alot of lightening and thunder, tornados even and thats so unusual. So needless to say great fungus building weather!
Getting much needed rain, Slow soaking type. This will help. 3 inches below normal in May. If weather is NORMAL any time.
We've been hotter than normal (to quote, "if weather is NORMAL anytime" ) and dry. But it's raining right now! One-half inch so far, and since the cat is no longer cowering in the bathroom behind the hamper, the thunder and lightning have moved on. The vegetable gardens are going to love this!
The furnace kicked in HIGH was 52*. But got even more rain. I forgot to take wash off line. Will have to spin them and put in dryer. And yes glad no thunder or lightning.or Ginger my Viszla would be in closet-or under the cover with us.
In a word--"crazy". We had a string of days that were in the 30's. Then it flip-flopped and now it is 12°C with rain and wind. Burrrrrr. I wonder what is going on in the "minds" of my plants.
We've had some lovely sunny weather here for a change - well that is until two days ago. Now we have rain and it's overcast and dull. I think we may have already had our summer here in Scotland.
Right up till now, can't complain. We've had hot days and then some rain, and back again! Everything looks great in gardens. And NOW it's raining. Started right when I was supposed to go out on my lunch break. SO I'm staying in the office. NOT cool at all!
