This is weird, right now you have more snow than we do. Do you need a snow shovel? :)

What's even weirder...look at the yards across the street from us in the first photo. There is no snow showing, mine looks like the only yard to get snow.
But I think it's because they have grass for it to fall through to the ground and mine is all mulch so the snow sits on top.

Hahaha....I half expected to see Gene Kelly spring out from behind a garden feature and do the famous song rite there!

We have some of that white stuff over here as well today. It is freezing cold and the outlook is for more coldness in the coming seven days.

Your garden already looked charming, but with snow it's a different kind of charm. It is lovely to see your garden, Toni. I hope that you get lots of enjoyment out of the weather there. I'll bet that you pat yourself on the beck every time that you look out at that garden, don't you?

    Great posting.

I thought of you this morning when the news mentioned the Dallas area getting snow. Glad some visited you!

I saw the Dallas newspaper had photos of snow and reports of something called "thundersleet" which sounds ominous.
Glad you are enjoying it, Toni, and very, very glad we are not! It is bad enough that it's cold here. This is NOT the Texas I moved to, and somebody better fix it quick  .

No snow here or sleet or freezing rain, just rain. That's how I like it. Yours is good for you Toni. I'm very happy you received. I wondered when I saw the blue on Dallas radar.

Thundersleet is thunder and lightning while it is sleeting, like thundersnow is thunder and lightning while it is snowing.

The tiny balls that sometimes will fall are called Graupel
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graupel We had those early Sunday morning, first time for us that I know of.
