That was very interesting, thank you for sharing. I had Columbines at our last home in Wisconsin and I grew daylilies on that side of the house and they did great besides the columbines. I usually had to cut my columbine down so you could see the daylilies when they bloomed. Some had flowers on them into July. The only problem I had with them was that they got so large that I had to stake them if we had a lot of wind....
