Hey, y'all! I'm new here, and so far, this site has proven to be very helpful.
I'm from SC, and I'm still in High school. I'm home schooled and enjoy every bit of it! My family and I are so busy, we hardly have time for school at home! :!: Anyway, I absolutely love music. I play piano (7yrs) and cello (3yrs). I also enjoy the sport of soccer! Last summer, I really got into planting flowers and taking care of my mom's fern and cactus plants. Some of the first flowers I grew were Johnny Jump Ups and Morning Glories. I can't wait until I find the time to plant more! Watching a flower grow and knowing I had a hand in it brings me joy!
Sadly, I will be graduating in next spring, so I don't have much more time at home. I plan on majoring in piano and cello proficiency so I can teach individual students. I am definitely considering pursuing a doctorate in both. I'm not sure what I'll do yet, though, after achieving my masters.
Anyway, I guess that's enough information for now.

    Hi again hsmusicalgal,

With education plans like you have, you will need someplace for gardening just to unwind and help you relax from school. Hopefully you will be able to have a few houseplants in your dorm room.

    Welcome,
You sound like an interesting gal!
I played cello from the time I was eight until I developed too much shoulder trouble in my thirties. Horse training is hard on the body at times. Music is still a big part of my life. I really enjoy listening to other musicians making beautiful sounds.

Hello hsmusicalgal, from Louisiana. I love to see young people interested in gardening, it is a great stress reliever. I hope you can still find time for it when you leave home for college.
