Told my husband about this and his reply was that people who mess around with HTML a lot are not likely to EVER contract a STD :D .

Yeah, I am positive of that also, Jane, but he was totally serious when he told us this. We were busting our guts laughing, So I though you would all get a laugh out of it, too.

I contracted HTML during a class in the late 90's, I caught it from the teacher and have had it ever since. I also contacted CSS. I now have a more virulent form, CSS3. My wife doesn't want anything to do with it. I did however infect her computer, she did not mind that. I use my computer so much that it reeks of HTML4 and I think it may now have HTML5. I do not however, have that pandemic social disease Tweet.

There is some doubt about whether that particular survey ever happened and some thought that if it was it was conducted by a website called Vouchercloud, a U.K. coupon website. Sorta puts a shadow of doubt on it considering the people surveyed probably have little knowledge of computers other than email and shopping.

Also, as a writer for CNET says, that's really not so bad, it means that 89 percent DO know what HTML is. ;)
