    Great pictures Glenda!! When I saw my first hummingbird moths from a distance there were hundreds feeding on a swamp of pickerel weed. Then someone told me they were not hummers. :-(

    Wow,..those blooms are surely occupied by garden visitors,..well captured.

    Thank you Jerry and Phillip I didn't knowwhat they were when I fist saw them but I have lots after my Daturas bloom and my wine lilies.I love to watch them every evening as they are so funny to watch.

    Your Datura certainly is a magnet for those bees and hummingbird moths Glenda. They obviously know a good thing when they see it. :-D

    Thank you Eileen.The bees scare me all at my front door.They don't care about me as they are to busy to bother me.

    Glendann those moths are so neat to see. I has seen both color variations. The bright emerald green one looks like the Ruby throat hummer. They also like the Gas Plant. I will have to see about growing some of those Angel trumpets next year. Get pic's. :stew1:

    Hummingbird moths

    I don't see them for years, but if I grow moonflower, they show up. And I'm pretty sure I'm the only garden around with moonflowers. How they find them amazes me.
