Kinda sorta fuzzy... the camera wanted to focus on the screen and sadly, the window/screen is old and crotchety and doesnt like to be opened. I positioned a chair a few yards away and waited... success! Ruby-Throated Hummingbird ( photo / image / picture from TheBip's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from TheBip's Garden )
Shame about the screen Jen,..they would have made great shots,..i felt like i should try make a hole in the mesh.
I think you did well. It's hard to get a photo of them at all. And don't let Philip come over and cut holes in all your screens!
I can still make out that they are hummingbirds even with the screens. I would love to have such lovely little birds in my garden.
Those turned out OK despite the screen. Those little buggers are quick, and sometimes that's the only way you can GET a photo. I've been trying for 9 years LOL
Don't you just love them. Our new windows don't have screen I can raise up. Never thought just to ask for 1/2 screen. Guess they cost more but wish I had know.Enjoy them while they are here.
