I was out checking things while it was not raining and kept getting buzzed by hummingbirds. their feeders still had food so I think they wanted me to leave so they could eat. I went and got the camera and got these three pictures. Two from the front corner and one from the back.

Three was all I could get because they were getting mad at me and diving at my head. Dooley

Wow Dooley great shots!!! :-D I never seen a hummingbird outside of a zoo. The nearest we come to them is when a hummingbird hawkmoth pays a visit.

Aw, I do love those little guys!
You caught some great shots, Dooley. :-D
I haven't seen any hummers here yet,
but they are probably starting to migrate north again,
I guess I'd better get their feeders filled and hung back out.

I have four feeders. It's difficult to count them becase they move so fast and chase each other. There are at various times up to 20 that I can count. They are so fun to watch. They let me get fairly close to them and let me know if they want me to leave. Dooley

Thanks for the hummingbird pictures Dooley.
I miss the little guys and gals.
We have been in this house twenty years this coming weekend and have yet to see one here. I have feeders out every spring and that huge Dragon Lady Cross Vine is just calling them to dinner but they don't show up.
The rent house we were in before then had them everywhere. I loved watching them chasing each other off the feeders.

I really would love to see hummingbirds outside of photos posted here. You guys are very fortunate to be graced by such wonderful visitors :)

Great photos Dooley, it's no mean feat to get an in-flight shot.

Great shots Dooley. They are one of my husbands favorites. He usually has a feeder just outside his workshop window so he can watch them.

Great pictures Dooley! I've been trying to get a picture of my hummers for 3 years, but the little devils are just too quick! I probably won't see any here until the beginning of May.

Wow, you really are lucky to have hummingbirds so close...

These days, it's the swallows who are fighting me for my patio. And a couple seem to enjoy sitting with each other and chirping before I get up.
