Lovely! After the winter you just endured, you and the "hungry dude" deserve all the best spring can offer.

From a 'black' bud to a blue gem the hyacinth looks great. And what would spring be without Daffodils.

Hey Captain, your 80° weather arrives tomorrow!! The Captain is now in charge of all 80° weather from Ohio. :)

Lovely hyacinth - I have just acquired 4 of that colour. Our daffs are over now, so seeing yours is a joy. You have got to love Spring!

Isn't spring just THE best season? Everything coming back to life after a severe winter always makes you smile doesn't it?

My Mom just gave us some hyacinths...

We kept the hyacinths my Mom gave us indoors for the last 2 weeks. Ours began to smell like mushrooms during the final stages of their blooming cycle, right before they withered. We're thinking of transplanting them outdoors because of this. It was a really pungent mushroom/fungi smell...
