    The Downey woodpeckers have been eyeing the basket that I have been putting peanuts in for the Tufted Titmice. But they were having trouble getting to them. So I stuck 3 peanuts into a piece of fence and it didn't take long for one of the females to find them.

    Something I can try with the woodpeckers that show up at the suet feeder.

    That woodpecker certainly looks pleased to have those peanuts CK. Great idea and I'm sure very much appreciated.
