splish splash geraniums?

All of my altheas died in containers, the only red I had left I stuck in the ground, and it lived until my dogs dug it up, I am in zone 8, if you are warm enough put them outside and if they have to stay in the container, don't over water, I think that was one of my problems. Good luck
